Fees for forest activities and events

Some forest activities require visitors to pay a fee and obtain a permit.

ForestrySA is committed to supporting and facilitating nature-based activities and events in our forest reserves, which contribute positively to the health and well-being of local people, businesses, communities and the economy.

Each year, ForestrySA dedicates significant time to process application requests and to maintain and enhance the extensive trail network and facilities available within forest reserves.

Regular review of our recreational fees is a State Government requirement and takes place annually on 1 July.

Small updates to our fees allows us the opportunity to recoup some administration, on-ground support and maintenance costs, and continue to provide well-maintained forest facilities into the future.

Our latest fee structure is available to view and download, via the button below, and is effective from 1 July 2022.

If you have any questions about the new fees or are organising an activity or event, please contact our team via email, or call the Kuitpo Head Office on 8391 8800.

The forest is closed to the public on declared Total Fire Ban days. To report a fire, call 000.
