Supporting Thin Green Line Foundation

ForestrySA is proud to be an active supporter of Thin Green Line Foundation.

This global, not-for-profit organisation provides support and funding to rangers across the world who need it, as they work on the frontline in dangerous conditions to protect wildlife and the natural environment. Funds raised helps provide effective training, vital equipment and emergency support to rangers and their families, while developing strong global networks for rangers and their communities.

Helping to protect nature’s protectors

Here at home, our ForestrySA Rangers protect over 16,000 ha of native bushland for conservation on Kaurna, Peramangk, Boandik and Ngarrindjeri Country.

Their work is not just a job, it’s something they feel very passionate about and they are keen to support their comrades working across the world.

ForestrySA’s workplace giving program allows our staff to make regular contributions directly to the cause, supplementing funds raised through our annual Run for Rangers Parkrun event held in Kuitpo Forest, deposit funds collected through recycling of cans and bottles, and staff membership of the South Australian Ranger Association.
