ALL FORESTS CLOSED TODAY: FRIDAY 9 Jan 2026 Total Fire Ban - MLR, Upper & Lower South East SA
Due to the forecast weather outlook for Friday 9 January 2026, The SA Country Fire Service has declared a Total Fire Ban in the Mount Lofty Ranges, Upper & Lower South East.
All ForestrySA forests in these regions will be closed for public safety.
Where Total Fire Bans have been declared, very hazardous fire weather conditions are predicted.
The Total Fire Ban will apply for 24 hours from midnight tonight to midnight tomorrow. Access to all ForestrySA forests in the area is prohibited during this time.
