About our forest camping and accommodation
ForestrySA manages a range of private huts, cottage and campsites venues within its Mount Lofty Ranges forests.
Bookings must be made online. Please scroll down to view our accommodations options, check availability and secure your stay.
All venues are available to book from 1 April to 30 November annually.
Wood fires are permitted from 1 May – 31 October annually. (These dates may change in seasons where high fire danger persists).
Planning a group activity at one of our sites?
A wide variety of community and private events are held at our Mount Lofty Ranges and Green Triangle recreation sites each year.
If you are planning a group activity such as orienteering, a school or Scout camp, group walk or bike ride, you must submit an event application and map of planned forest routes.
All applications must be submitted at least four weeks prior to the proposed event or activity and will be reviewed by a forest Ranger for approval on a case-by-case basis.
