Planning an event?
ForestrySA supports a range of organised events and group activities at our sites, but it is important for you to let us know what you are up to so we can help you out or advise on any potential safety hazards in the area.
Definitions:
- Events: Organised or promoted activities that involve commercial, ticketed or coordinated delivery, including competitions, advertised events, camps with fees, festivals, weddings, any events with caterers or suppliers, or any activity requiring a higher level of Ranger support. These require a formal application, approval, fees and supporting documentation.
- Group Activities: Small, low‑impact visits (fewer than 30 people, no participant fees and no commercial gain) that only require a simple registration to notify Rangers and ensure there are no clashes in activity or closures in place.
