Ingalalla Falls

Tens of thousands of people visit Second Valley Forest each year to explore the natural creeks, rockpools and waterfalls along the Ingalalla Falls trail.

The falls are located 10km south of Normanville, on Hay Flat Road.

The rockpools and waterfall, which attract a variety of birdlife are located a 250m walk from the car park. Access to the upper falls is not recommended as it is steep and slippery.

Open all year round, Ingalalla Falls is the perfect place to visit with the family, with picnic with tables dotted along the path to the falls. There are extended walks through the forest which are great for fitness. There are many shaded areas and in autumn the leaves of the deciduous trees provide a colourful backdrop to the trees in the pine forest.

The forest is closed to the public on declared Total Fire Ban days. To report a fire, call 000.

For fire ban information phone 1800 362 361 or visit the CFS website. Being aware of a Total Fire Ban is your responsibility.

Fire is prohibited on ForestrySA land between November 1 and April 30 in any year. (These dates may be extended in areas where high fire danger persists).
