The ForestrySA camping season will reopen from 3pm on 15 May 2020, as COVID-19 restrictions lift to allow regional travel for South Australians.
Camping permits will be available at the gates at Chookarloo Campground in Kuitpo Forest and Chalk’s and Rocky Paddock campgrounds in Mount Crawford Forest.
Online bookings will be required online via ForestrySA’s new booking system from 9am on 25 May at www.forestrysa.com.au/camping, with payment required at the time of booking, allowing visitors to view, reserve and pay for a spot in advance of their stay.
