Cudlee Creek fire recovery: Landowner assistance

Owners of private pine woodlots affected by the Cudlee Creek fire are encouraged to register for assistance with the Lobethal Recovery Centre.

PRIVATE PINE WOODLOTS

Landholders in the Cudlee Creek fire area with fire-affected trees are encouraged to register with the Lobethal Recovery Centre.

Fire-affected woodlots greater than 3 hectares may be subject to an assessment of the commercial viability of harvesting logs from the burnt woodlot.

Where woodlots are suitable for commercial harvest, ForestrySA may be able to assist landowners sell log products into the local market over the next 12 months. There will be limited activity over winter however this will pick up again towards the end of the year.
